American LaFrance's Condor is a Low Cab Forward truck for specialized heavy-duty applications. It was designed for refuse, recycling and other specialized heavy-duty truck applications. The concept was to offer Class 8 Low Cab Forward operators a product which offered advancements in safety, ergonomics, maneuverability, durability and serviceability, in order to make the transition between operating in a residential neighborhood and a landfill site as easy and safe as possible.

The Condor was built specifically to be a highly efficient low cab forward truck on the road. The ergonomically designed cab allows easy access through low cab height, and increased all-round visibility reduces driver fatigue in its designated work environment. This often includes multiple stop-starts and city traffic maneuvering.
